Hotline and Support
RacerPro customers get access to our Hotline that is preferably available via e-mail on weekdays during the typical business hours in central Europe (about six hours before New York time) but often beyond. In most cases you will receive an answer to your inquiry on the same day, on minor requests we will respond within 48 hours latest, while complex problems may take a up to two weeks to be attended to and to be solved.
If you report a malfunction of RacerPro we will replicate the reported error condition. Please send us detailed information about the error-related environment, but we may additionally request some example data to simulate the situation. If the error is localized within RacerPro we will provide a bug-fix or a work-around as quickly as possible. As a RacerPro Network- or Site-License customer you will receive patches and updates during the first year after purchase or under an active software maintenance agreement free for charge.
Is the problem resulting from a non-RacerPro immanent error we will offer you an individual and non-free support activity to solve the issue.

Customization
RacerPro is being developed using programming languages which are available for multiple computer platforms. While key algorithms are written in Lisp, other parts of the system such as tools are implemented in Java. We can therefore offer RacerPro on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X for standard rates.
Complex applications where RacerPro has access to a huge amount of data may require strong computing power. To fulfill these needs we make RacerPro available for Sun Solaris and HP/UX systems. However, to compile RacerPro on these platforms, suitable development environments and third party software is needed. Certain specific modifications must be done as well. We will make this effort for each individual customer order. Please assume an extra charge of at least 7,000.00 Euro (net plus tax) for bringing RacerPro to the above mentioned platforms.
An even larger performance boost can be expected on systems with greater memory addressing space. 64bit systems promise such an increase and are therefore of interest for high-end RacerPro users. For the moment we offer support for the Sun/Solaris 64bit environment and for AMD 64bit systems running Linux. Please contact us for this or other systems of your interest and ask for prices and availability of RacerPro for those platforms.
Additional Service
You may ask for assistance at your location for installation, modification or individual problem solving. We offer on-site consulting services at standard rates of 1,500.00 Euro per day and for 1,200.00 Euro per day if there is no travel necessity. All prices are without taxes, travel cost and reasonable out-of-pocket expenses. Please admit at least two weeks for organisation and planning.
Individual Development
We offer complete services for your research and development projects. Our staff will join your team or will develop independently at your functional specifications. You will greatly profit from our knowledge and experience. Please contact us for further information.
