Welcome to a preview of RacerPro 2.0:
The upcoming version of RacerPro will offer several new features and various improvements compared with its predecessor. Users of any preceding version (including BETA) will notice an increase in performance and an improved use of available resources.
Since the official release of the final version 2.0 still takes some time, we have decided to allow you a preview of the upcoming version. You can freely download the version 2.0 as compressed archives for the Windows, Mac OS X, and for the Linux platform — all 32 bit and x86 processors only. The RacerPro preview software comes with a time-limited trial license included which allows full operation without registering your copy.
RacerPro 2.0 will have all features of previous released versions (read more...) and will offer various improvements and benefits. For an introduction to the new features through short tutorials and examples please download the examples archive below.
You may also consult our update guidelines for general information about updating an existing installation and general hints regarding precautions.

Released: 20100704 This archive contains the latest version of JRacer, the Java-based API to RacerPro 2.0 preview. JRacer has been rewritten completely and now features Java methods for each RacerPro native functions including optional parameters (avoiding the string conversion required in previous versions). See the enclosed Readme-file and example code for initial instructions and refer to the RacerPro reference manual for a documentation of the native RacerPro command set and the nRQL API. JRacer comes without any warranty of any kind and is free to all users of RacerPro. Please note that you may have to change the encoding and line endings of the enclosed text files in order to work properly on your operating system platform. |

Released: 20100704 This archive contains the latest version of LRacer, the Lisp-based API to RacerPro 2.0 preview. LRacer has been rewritten completely and now supports UTF8 and external formats with compatible Lisp development systems. LRacer has been tested with Allegro Common Lisp 8.2 (mlisp and alisp), LispWorks 5.1 and 6, and SBCL 1.0.29 + SLIME, and CLISP 2.44.1. See the enclosed Readme-file for initial instructions and refer to the RacerPro reference manual for a documentation of the native RacerPro command set and the nRQL API. OWLlink API to access RacerPro 2.0 via OWLlink from Java applications |
Based on the latest OWLAPI version 3 the OWLlink API enables Java applications to access OWL reasoners such as RacerPro 2.0 via the OWLlink protocol. More information is provided on the projects web site at http://owllink-owlapi.sourceforge.net/ .

The OWLAPI adaptor for RacerPro 2.0 and the Protégé adaptor for RacerPro 2.0 were developed by Olaf Noppens of Ulm Universtät (Germany) and are courtesy of their web site at http://www.uni-ulm.de/in/ki/semantics/owltools. Installation instructions are available on that web site too.
