You can freely download the version 2.0 as compressed archives for the Windows, Mac OS X, and for the Linux platform — all 32 bit and x86 processors only. The RacerPro preview software comes with a time-limited trial license included which allows full operation without registering your copy.
RacerPro 2.0 will have all features of previous released versions (read more...) and will offer various improvements and benefits. For an introduction to the new features through short tutorials and examples please download the examples archive below.
You may also consult our update guidelines for general information about updating an existing installation and general hints regarding precautions.
We also provide a comprehensive overview over the RacerPro 2.0 reasoning environment.

Additional notes for Java developers
RacerPro 2.0 can be used as a server application and offers different APIs for developers. In addition to raw TCP communication interfaces for Java (JRacer, OWLAPI), Common Lisp (LRacer), RacerPro 2.0 also supports the OWLlink communication interface, a successor of DIG. Furthermore, users of the famous Stanford Protégé editor can use RacerPro 2.0 as a reasoner service by installing the appropriate plugin which can be downloaded and kept updated from within the Protégé editor itself.
Refer to the Users Guide (offered for download here as well) for more information.
Below you'll find links to important ressources such as project web sites. Please note that the appearance here is for your convenience only: The following 'items' do not represent downlaod options from our web site. Actually, all necessary API library is included in the packages listed above.

|
OWLAPI Adapter for for RacerPro |
|
Access RacerPro 2.0 from your custom Java application via the OWLAPI. Currently the OWLAPI adapter for RacerPro 2.0 is bundled in the JRacer package (see above). There we provide useful examples and all necessary library files as well. Documentation can be found in the rewritten Users Guide, also available here. More information about the OWLAPI in general is provided on the projects web site at http://owlapi.sourceforge.net/

|
Adapter for Protégé |
|
Please use the download mechanism from within Protégé to download the RacerPro 2.0 adapter. Technical notes: We deliver the Protégé plugin and the OWLAPI adapter in a combined jar file. Hence, the OWLAPI adapter included in the JRacer ZIP archive above can be used as Protégé plugin and vice versa. We suggest that you rely on the update mechanism of Protégé in order to keep your installation up to date. This ensures that you have versions of the Protégé editor, the RacerPro 2.0 software (will be downloaded by the plugin and has a permanent license) and the plugin that are compatible to each other. More information about the plugin can be found in a Readme file. |

|
OWLlink API |
Based on the latest OWLAPI version 3 the OWLlink API enables Java applications to access OWL reasoners such as RacerPro 2.0 via the OWLlink protocol. More information is provided on the projects web site at http://owllink-owlapi.sourceforge.net/ .
