Racer Systems participated the Semantic Web Days congress and exhibition which was held for the first time this year. About a hundred attendees crowded together to get an update on the latest developments in the area of knowledge representation and semantics-based information architecture and to discuss consequences as well as options for this innovative technology in economy. This event demonstrated the importance of the semantic-driven computing and of RacerPro as a core engine for processing OWL and RDF knowledge bases. Our demonstration focusses the deployment of RacerPro as an inference server to third-party applications. Therefore we showcased a Geographic Information System which utilizes RacerPro as a back-end server which holds the classified area information and individual map objects to process the query commands sent by the user front end application which graphically displays the results.
