RacerPro version 2.0 is now available as a public preview!
This preview version demonstrates all new features that are scheduled for the next official release of RacerPro and it incorporates all the latest improvements regarding performance, compatibility and ressource utilization. We invite all our users and customers to try out RacerPro 2.0 in your environment!
But before you start evaluating, please take some time and read though the system overview, the comprehensive description of new features and the other material available from the preview intro page!
The current commercial release of RacerPro is still version 1.9.0 as introduced some time ago but we will release the final version 2.0 as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can download and use the preview software even without registering with us. The included license allows full operation until April 30, 2010.
Please refer to the list of features for more information about the capabilities of the Racer system in general.
As a registered user your personal download page will still offer you the official release as well as the BETA version. It is up to you to decide if you set up a system that has a longer scope than April 30, 2010: in such a case we suggest using version 1.9.2 even if it is called a BETA software. You may also consult our update guidelines for general information about updating an existing installation. Further details are provided in the ReadMe and Release Notes documents that accompany the 1.9.x software.
We invite new users to try out RacerPro by downloading the preview version or by registering for a a 30-day free test drive of the 1.9.x version. You can choose between the Windows, Linux and Mac OS X operating system platforms. If you will use RacerPro for basic research and for education at a degree-granting organization such as a university or school, you can apply for a free license which needs a renewal before April 30 and October 31, respectively.
